Iceland, the “land of ice and fire” is one of the most spectacular places in the world. It is at the top of every photographer’s bucket list. There is no other place in the world where photographers can encounter such a diverse range of landscapes and natural phenomena. In these eight days we will explore this extraordinary world.
On our tour, our photographic destinations range from the unearthly landscapes of the Icelandic Highlands (Landmannalaugar), through waterfalls, colourful mountains, lundas, extinct volcanoes to black sand beaches.
During the tour (midnight sun), you will experience the most beautiful lights and colours that you cannot experience anywhere else on earth.
Our photo tour focuses on the Icelandic Highlands (Landmannalaugar) and the southern part of the island, where most of the fantastic photo locations are located. This is when nature is at its most beautiful and green, the weather is warmest and the days are longest. Iceland is a mystical, special, enchanted island nation with almost un-earthly qualities. This is no exaggeration, as the Apollo astronauts were sent to Iceland for training, and the geologist on the programme said that the interior of Iceland is the most like the Moon on Earth. When Neil Armstrong successfully returned from the Apollo 11 mission, he was asked what it was like to walk on the Moon, to which he replied that it was exactly like Iceland. In the land of fire and ice, visitors are amazed not only by the natural wonders, but also by the culture, the people and the local traditions. Iceland has a total population of 320,000. It is the only country where there are no mosquitoes.

Programme subject to change! The main purpose of our trip is photography. To take the best possible photos in the best possible places. However, sometimes sacrifices have to be made: unexpected situations – weather changes and other environmental factors – can override the planned programme. For us, passenger safety is paramount: if a programme is cancelled or rescheduled, it is only to ensure the best possible experience.
If, due to some unforeseen event, a programme cannot be completed at all at the time advertised, the tour leader will try to reschedule or reschedule the programme.
The organisers’ main concern is that you have a good time, but the final decision is theirs and all participants are bound by it.
Good health is a prerequisite for participation in the trip. Serious cardiovascular problems, neurological and mental disorders are excluded. If your personal condition requires it, please consult your doctor.
Our guides will show you what to do and how to do it. We work with each person individually. We adapt to your circumstances. If the weather or lighting conditions are not right, we will return to photograph your subject in the best conditions. One thing is for sure: thanks to the memory of our camera (not to mention our own), the memory of the trip will stay with us forever.

Tour guide
I hiked, climbed mountains, and then I wanted to bring home what I saw in the mountains, so photography came into my life as a hobby, and after ten years as a profession. I’ve shared my experiences and what I’ve seen with the public in several exhibitions and travelogues. Since I decided to get the FIAP (Fédération Internationale de I’Art Photographique), I have been awarded special prizes, distinctions and acceptances in international competitions. I want to show our travellers the exciting and varied world of landscape photography.
Tour guide
I started out photographing birds, with which I achieved good results in national and international competitions. After a while my interest turned to landscape photography. Two years ago I also started to explore the mysteries of drone photography.
My work has been successfully entered in competitions such as National Geographic, Nature Photographer of the Year, Magic Hungary, PCCS International Salon, Sony, vadon.ro, IBP Dreamscapes International Salon, MAFOSZ, FIAP, Pannonia Reflections, BPOTY and WildLifePhoto.
My photographs are in permanent exhibitions and I have recently had two books published privately.
Tour guide
Photography is not just a hobby for me – it is a passion inspired by my love of nature. I am fascinated by the beauty of the landscape and the uniqueness of the built environment. Photographic tours allow us to get closer to the wonders of nature, to discover the beauty that surrounds us and to get away from the hustle and bustle of the world. Besides landscape photography, interior and street photography have a special place in my life. In 2023, I tried to deepen my knowledge in this field by taking a course in Street Photography at MOME. My pictures try to capture the special atmosphere of each location, the magic of the moment and the diversity of the world.
