Although photography had already intrigued me due to the people around me, I embarked on this tour with absolutely no prior knowledge. I had never been to Italy either, so in every sense, this was uncharted territory for me. I didn’t even bring a digital camera—just my phone and a Smena SL along with an 8M. Needless to say, there was plenty of chuckling during the briefing session. Those two little analog cameras had been stuck in my mind for over a year after seeing them in a vlog. The trip started off with such a lighthearted and playful energy at the morning meetup that it instantly set the mood—I loved it. Zsolt and Krisztián were incredibly approachable, friendly, and within moments, they had bonded the group together. To be honest, this was already becoming clear during the pre-trip discussions. The hotel, the breakfasts, and the dinners did not disappoint either. As for the tiramisu—well, it earned the label “horrible”, but don’t let that scare you; try it for yourself! And the wines, especially in great company, were absolutely delightful. Oh, and yes, we did do some photography here and there. 😊 You should give this a try—I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!
