“One of the most important things in photography is to enjoy yourself while doing it!” – Harry Skeggs
Well, we had an absolutely amazing time on the Lofoten photography tour!
We found our way to BestPhotoTour because Krisztián was our wedding photographer. Visiting Norway was on my husband’s bucket list, and since he was also interested in photography, the family gifted him this tour as a Christmas present.
Then came our wedding, and we had planned to do a destination creative photoshoot since we were living in Austria at the time. However, by the time we moved back home, we no longer wanted to return there for the shoot. That’s when the big question came up: “So where should we go?” Krisz jokingly suggested that I should join them in Norway and we could do the photoshoot there. After some thinking, we both said yes—and it turned out to be the second-best “yes” of our married life!
I joined the tour as an “outsider,” but by the time I returned home, I had fallen in love with (and I dare say, learned to) drone photography! 😁 At first, I was hesitant, especially when it came to wind and heights, but thanks to the encouragement of the group, that changed pretty quickly.
My husband arrived as a complete beginner hobby photographer, and he received all the guidance he needed to improve. Comparing his photos from the first and last day, the difference was clear—he had definitely leveled up! 🙂 Zsolt and Krisztián provide everything you need to learn photography—you just have to take advantage of the opportunity.
The tour leaders handled every request, whether personal, photography-related, individual, or group-based—always within the realm of possibility, of course. Not once did we hear, “That’s not possible.” 🙂
Honestly, we could write pages about our time there and all the positive experiences, but it would be unnecessary.
Just go and experience it for yourself! That’s the only way to truly understand what you see in the photos and read in the reviews.
It was our first, but definitely not our last BestPhotoTour!
Thank you for everything!
