The Lofoten photography tour was a challenge for me in several ways. I don’t like winter, and I’m just learning digital photography. However, every moment of the tour was a fantastic experience. Zsolt, with his usual calm precision, organized everything meticulously and thought of every detail. Lofoten is simply breathtaking. The colors of the water and the mountains, the light, the rapidly changing weather, and the low-hanging sun create a scene that transforms every minute. Zsolt took us to the best photography spots—morning, noon, and evening—explaining the appropriate camera settings each time. Sometimes, we were so absorbed in taking pictures that we didn’t even notice the pouring rain, snow, or ice. And when we finally retreated to our cozy red house by the water, the Photoshop lessons began. I still haven’t grown fond of winter, so next summer, we’re heading to Iceland with Zsolt.
